Brian M. Slomovitz MD, MS

Brian M. Slomovitz, MD, MS, is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Florida International University as well as Director of Gynecologic Oncology and Co-Chair of the Cancer Research Committee at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.

Dr. Slomovitz received his medical degree from Rutgers University - New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He then completed his residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center followed by a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in New York, New York. He is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology.

Dr. Slomovitz is a specialist in clinical trial development, robotic surgery, sentinel lymph node evaluation, and immunotherapy. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) Foundation and the Uterine Cancer Lead for GOG Partners. He is also the national or global principal investigator on a number of GOG Partners, National Cancer Institute, and Alliance Foundation clinical trials. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and lectured extensively. In addition, Dr. Slomovitz has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly Medical for the past several years.
