Tiye U. Link, EdD, MS, MBA, is Program Director of Healthy University at Nashville CARES, a program for individuals living with HIV in Nashville, Tennessee that focuses on education, advocacy, and social networks in an atmosphere of empowerment. Dr. Tiye is also the Founder and CEO of Faith Connections LLC, a consulting company geared toward connecting, empowering, and enriching those in the faith-based community living with HIV and their affected family and friends.
Dr. Tiye completed her Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Organizational Leadership at Argosy University in Chicago, Illinois. Before that, she obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree at National Louis University in Chicago and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Tiye has also completed two-thirds of the Master of Divinity (MDIV) program at Fuller Theological Seminary.
Dr. Tiye serves as a Minister at the Church of the Messiah in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is the Lead Servant over the HIV/AIDS and Chronic Disease Ministry. The ministry is also a partner with the Spiritual Connections psychosocial group at Nashville CARES, where the group provides spiritual support for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). Dr. Tiye has been involved in community ministry for over 40 years.
Dr. Tiye has been employed with Nashville CARES for the past 9 years. Dr. Tiye also serves on the Scientific Review Committee for the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research and on the End the Epidemic Equity and Leadership Workgroups, which is in response to the National Strategy for PLWHA. Dr. Tiye holds a certification in Mental Health First Aid. Dr. Tiye’s passion and calling is empowering and serving the HIV+ population.
