Elizabeth A. Kiracofe, MD,
is the Founder of Airia Comprehensive Dermatology in Chicago, Illinois, where she serves as Principal Dermatologist. Dr. Kiracofe received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She then completed her residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, where she served as chief resident. Following her medical training, she completed a Health Policy Fellowship with the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA). Through this position, she became a registered lobbyist for the State of Ohio, allowing her to officially advocate on behalf of patients and physicians.

Dr. Kiracofe’s interests focus around patient advocacy and education. She frequently gives educational talks on skin disease and skin cancer protection. She has been published in a number of dermatology journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Journal of Dermatopathology. In recognition of her efforts in public health, Dr. Kiracofe was honored by the OSMA with the 2014 Physician Advocate of the Year Award—the first dermatologist and youngest physician to ever receive this award.
