Marianne Davies, DNP, ACNP, AOCNP, FAAN, is Associate Professor of Nursing at Yale University School of Nursing. She is also Program Manager of the Care Signature Oncology Service Line and serves as an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner in medical oncology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Comprehensive Cancer Center in New Haven, Connecticut.

Dr. Davies began her nursing education at Russell Sage College in New York and continued her education in New Haven, receiving both her master's degree and post-master's certification at Yale University School of Nursing. Dr. Davies then earned a doctorate of nursing practice at the MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Dr. Davies' clinical practice is in thoracic medical oncology. Her focus is on caring for patients receiving novel therapeutics including immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and the management of associated toxicities. She has written and contributed to a number of scientific publications on a variety of topics, including immunotherapy and management of complications of cancer and cancer therapies, including immune-related adverse events.

In addition to her published work, Dr. Davies serves as a sub-investigator for a number of clinical trials examining novel agents in the treatment of lung cancer, head and neck cancers, and melanoma. She has delivered presentations across the country and internationally on a variety of topics, including the management of side effects and toxicities related to immunotherapy and the integration of advanced practice nurses to enhance the patient care experience.

Dr. Davies has received various awards and honors, including the Yale University Cogswell Award and the Ruth McCorkle Oncology Advanced Practice Provider: Yale Cancer Center and Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing. She also has been recognized by Yale University for Outstanding Student Leadership and Community Involvement and by her patients through the Yale-New Haven Medical Staff Patient Experience Recognition Program. She was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing in 2020 (FAAN-2020).
